Bosnia Agile Kickoff Retrospective
On Saturday, 22nd March in Hotel Sarajevo Bosnia Agile Kickoff event was held. There were over 160 software developers and IT experts interested in Agile methodologies.
Main purpose of the event was to mark the founding of Bosnia Agile association and popularization of Agile methodologies in companies and process management with an emphasis on software project management. On this daylong event participants were able to attend a number of interesting lectures and workshops and get introduced into advantages of using Agile methodologies.
At the beginning of the event, participants were introduced by Bosnia Agile and Authority Partners, Platinum sponsor of the event. Keynote was held by Jurgen Appelo, author of the book Management 3.0: Leading Agile Developers, Developing Agile Leaders.
After the keynote, Kemal Bajramović held "Product Owner Kōdōkan" lecture, and after Kemal, Elizabeth Woodward, addressed the audience via video-link. The topic was "Eliminating Barriers to Agility with DevOps.“
After the lunch break, lectures and workshops were divided in two tracks, and lecturers were Ralph Jocham, the first European Scrum.org trainer, Nermina Durmić, Fariz Saračević, Sejo Ćesić and Enes Zeherović.
After the lectures, the winner of our quiz, Zinajda Sarac, was awarded with Prestigio tablet, a gift from Asbis, Bosnia Agile KickOff Sponsor.
